The winner of this election was the same as the plurality-based winner (aka “most votes wins.”). But, it wasn’t clear that 🍫 Mexican Hot Chocolate would have majority support from the start (33% support). It was only determined after the eliminations. So, while the winner’s name didn’t change, there is still a huge difference — we know that 🍫 Mexican Hot Chocolate has majority support.
